Since 1996, PACTE has supported the people and local authorities of Casamance in researching, testing and building solutions suited to development challenges.
PACTE has its roots in an urban social development initiative carried out in Ziguinchor from the 1990s onward. Out of that field experience grew an organisation that works with local actors and builds, together with them, solutions suited to local realities.
It has held demonstrated references since 1996, which it progressively turns into methods, knowledge and expertise that can be mobilised.
